Why it works
The science
Microneedling is formally called collagen induction therapy, and the name is the explanation. Each micro-channel is a tiny, controlled signal that sends your skin into repair mode — producing new collagen and elastin exactly where the treatment directs it. Because the surface barrier stays essentially intact, downtime is brief: most clients look flushed for a day or two, then increasingly luminous as the rebuilding happens underneath.
That underlying process is why results compound. Collagen remodeling continues for weeks after each session, which is also why microneedling is delivered as a series — each treatment builds on the last, and benefits can be experienced for up to a year.
